The Day Has Finally Arrived!

Well... it is finally THE DAY! I could not sleep the night before, all nervous-wrecked and still pondering whether to go for GA or Epidural!!

This is me before I leave for the hospital :)

A very pointed tummy!

I hope I won't scare anyone with this pix hehe..

Kyrell's Lil' Milestone

1st Day : Sticking out his tongue the whole day after delivery, probably from the dehydration in my tummy
3rd Day & 1st Month : Tries to hold his milk bottle?!
2nd Month : Sleeps through the night. Reacts and smiles back.
6th Month : Holds his own milk bottle when you say "hold your own bottle" and can do the "milk" handsign. Starts his solids. Understands when I say "hold mummy's hand" to pull himself to sitting position.
7th Month : Able to sit up without support (12 Jul).
7th Month Mid : Attempts his 1st crawl (23 Jul).
8th Month : Can crawl. Can utter Papa and Mama though may not know the meaning. Knows that I call home when at work, gets hysterical whenever the phone rings! Sprout his very 1st tooth.
8th Month End : Can say and knows the meaning of Papa and Mama
9th Month : Able to stand up with support.
11th Month : Had his 1st meat - Cod Fish. Had his 1st drink from sippy cup and able to drink from the straw. A week before he turns 1, he uttered his 1st three syllabus word - potato, without me teaching him to.
12th Month : Can response to me on the phone - calls me and sends me kisses (16 Dec). Can say more then 30 words and recognises most of them.
13th Month - Can walk on his own with the push car. Says more then 50 words. Can do handsign for "eat" aka "mum mum".
14th Month : Had his 1st beef (19 Feb). Able to walk about 10 steps with support (23 Feb). Says more then 70 words.
15th Month : Able to walk short distance. Likes to imitate anything he hears. Able to say more then 80 words and still counting :)
16th month : Can walk on his own. Able to say 120 words and say short sentence made up with 2-3 words. Utter his first "I love you" on 24 Apr 09! But still not very clear :)
17th Month : Can run abit. Trying to climb up and down stairs with my help. Tries to say in short sentences. Can say over 170 words.
18th Month : Can say more than 240 words! Able to express his feelings ie fear-say 怕怕 and pat his chest, happy-clap his hands smile and say yeah.
19 month : can say more then 300 words! Has grown very fast this month. Started childcare on 3 Aug.
20th Month : can say more then 400 words and pronounciation is clearer now. Has about 8 teeth at top rows and 4-6 teeth at bottom rows, finally.
21th Month : Can say more then 500 words. Speaks more sentences and mandarin. Able to call his teachers/classmates' name.
22nd Month : Can say more then 600 words. Can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star along with someone and likes to hum with songs. Can sing bits and pieces of Barney's I Love You and Blah Blah Black Sheep.
24th Month : can say more then 700 words and sing more then 10 songs
25th Month : can say more then 800 words now, speaks in sentences and getting cheeky. Still has same number of teeth. Is more assertive in what he wants

16 mths old : 11.5 kg (chicken pox jab at polyclinic on 2 May)
18 mths old : 11.8 kg (10 Jun 09) / 82.5 cm (24 Jun 09)
19 mths old : 12.6 kg (based on weighing m/c at NCC, 25 Jul 09)
20 mths old : 13 kg (at clinic for his cough/flu, 17 Aug 09)
20 mths old : 12.1 kg (at SBCC for his diarrhea, 10 Sep 09)
22 mths old : 12.6 kg (took at Huifang's hse, 17 Oct 09)
