Just A Stroll

After the Shrek show and shopping @ ToyRUs, Kyrell fell alseep around 4pm shortly after his milk. Then hubby and I went for lunch and Carrefour. We reached home around 6pm+ and that is when he woke up, in the lift, crying that he doesn't want to go home :p

So to pacify him, we brought him to the tracks downstairs to "burn" off his excess energy, afterwhich he is a happy boy!!

Shrek 4

We participated the (3rd) movie event organised by Berriworks, this time its "Shrek 4". Kyrell was just introduced to Shrek movies (part 2 & 3) 2 weeks before, prior to that, I wasn't sure if he will like it but he does not seem to reject it. In fact, he warmed up to the characters (shrek, fiona, gingerbread man, cat, donkey) pretty fast! Hence the decision to get the tix! They cost $14 per pax, comes with a goody bag and games/activities held at 10 am at the Suntec Eng Wah lounge.

Kyrell did not concentrate 100% of the time during the show but at least he did not sleep or fuss, I would say pretty well done for a 29 month old hee... good job baby! More movies coming up...

I would like to jot this down so that Kyrell will read it when he grows up : Baby, you scared the hell out of mummy today, just after the show, still in the theatre and dim, while we (mummy, daddy and aunty Veron) were loading our bags onto your stroller, you wander off on your own!! Out from the theatre, to the holding area and to the ticketing area!! When we realised you were gone (could not see well in the theatre intially), daddy made a dash out, I went to the lounge area but just before entering, I saw daddy carrying you in. I was so glad to see you and yet, upset/angry that I might/could have lost you. PLEASE PLEASE... do not do the vanishing act! Mummy promised to keep a closer watch over you next time as well.

After the show, we went to ToyRUs and Kyrell went gaga over the iron man mask and cars etc... He insisted on wearing the mask and I say, you looked hilarious :p What do you think??

My Iron Baby hee...

We wanted to take pix of Dayna and Kyrell together but the boy just could not keep still, Dayna was trying to carry him to hold him still heee...

...but no luck :p

Underwater World

It is Vesak Day today, no work but not hubby, he has to go back to office. So I brought Kyrell to Sentosa - Underwaterworld/Dolphin Lagoon (His first time there).
We took the bus and train to Harbourfront then board the Sentosa Express (monorail) at Vivocity L3. Boy, you should see the crowds, the queue was soooooo long, but it was moving quite fast. We were in the Q for less then 10 mins. Andit took less then 5 mins to reach the small island.

Waiting for Sentosa Express

Kyrell "reading" the map...

Our Lunch, Kids Pasta from Coffee Bean - YUMS!

Having his 鸡 蛋 糕 which I brought from home

Weather was very hot, we were both persipring already, even before all the fun!

Finally in the Underwater World after about 1.5hr of queuing!! It was very crowded - alot of Indian tourists OMG... Kyrell drank his milk and fell asleep in his stroller while we queued.

Still sleeping....

After about an hour we entered, I woke him up and he was excited to see all the big fishes :)

Waiting at the dolphin lagoon, I bought a cone of ice cream ($3!!) to share... but Kyrell finished most of it :p

First, it was sea lion performing at 5pm.

Concentrating... holding the dolphin balloon which I bought

A quick snap before the dolphin show starts at 545pm

End of the show and on our way home (too hot/tired/late/crowded to explore other places!!)

Food Fare @ School

Kyrell's school had a food fare today and parents are encouraged to come during lunch hour (12-130pm) to patronise the stalls, of which the food are prepared/helped by the kids!! They are selling a booklet of $10 coupons so that you have purchased the food from the stalls.

When I arrived, Kyrell was already seated with Micah and Reyanna, with their mummies, munching on drumlets!! Hahha... the mummies thought I wasn't coming so they gave Kyrell some food :p Its good to see the mummies again and make small chat, though I do not know their names but its comforting to know that they know my kid and vice versa, and when I am not around, they will help to look after Kyrell :)

It was packed with parents when I arrived and I suspect that alot of them were either not working or on half day today (coincidently, its Family Day today) because I do see some kids leaving the school after the event.

Back to the event, Kyrell's class was in charged of stringing grapes onto the stick and they are selling at $1 for 2 sticks! Some stalls were selling dumpling soup $4, chicken sandwiches $4, brownie with ice cream $4, jelly $1, fishball kebab $1, pasta $3, drumlets, muffin, cookies etc..

It was a great experience because Kyrell gets to 'buy' what he wants and he ate alot!! He had drumlets, cookies, jelly, fishball, grapes, brownie with icecream and soup keke...
Next year, I think its better to get $20 coupons because $10 is definitely not enough to sample all the yummy food :p
