Kyrell's school had a food fare today and parents are encouraged to come during lunch hour (12-130pm) to patronise the stalls, of which the food are prepared/helped by the kids!! They are selling a booklet of $10 coupons so that you have purchased the food from the stalls.
When I arrived, Kyrell was already seated with Micah and Reyanna, with their mummies, munching on drumlets!! Hahha... the mummies thought I wasn't coming so they gave Kyrell some food :p Its good to see the mummies again and make small chat, though I do not know their names but its comforting to know that they know my kid and vice versa, and when I am not around, they will help to look after Kyrell :)
It was packed with parents when I arrived and I suspect that alot of them were either not working or on half day today (coincidently, its Family Day today) because I do see some kids leaving the school after the event.
Back to the event, Kyrell's class was in charged of stringing grapes onto the stick and they are selling at $1 for 2 sticks! Some stalls were selling dumpling soup $4, chicken sandwiches $4, brownie with ice cream $4, jelly $1, fishball kebab $1, pasta $3, drumlets, muffin, cookies etc..
It was a great experience because Kyrell gets to 'buy' what he wants and he ate alot!! He had drumlets, cookies, jelly, fishball, grapes, brownie with icecream and soup keke...
Next year, I think its better to get $20 coupons because $10 is definitely not enough to sample all the yummy food :p
