*Fright*

Today's Kyrell last day with the half-day care class and the school has mis-communicated. The teacher thought he is starting his full day today and when after shower, time to sleep, the teacher tried to make him sleep. And he had a fright and cried!! Looked at teacher's watch (as if he can read time) and kept asking "Mummy where?". With more and more mummies coming and no sight of me, he got scared. So naturally when I arrived to fetch him, I was shocked to see him crying, trying to pull his backpack along and leaving his classroom! 离 校 出 走!!

The teacher found out from me that he is only starting full day in Sept and explained to me what happened... couldn't really blame them but at least now I know how Kyrell will take it when its time. His teacher further informed that when they opened his bag to check whether I have prepared anything for his afternoon session, Kyrell helped himself with the cornflakes I have packed in, sat down and ate. Even put his cap on.

I compensated his fear by bringing him to kiddy ride after that. He was pretty well behaved. When back to my workplace, he ate abit and slept almost immediately. He slept for almost 3 hrs before he starts terrorising me :p

Kyrell knocked himself against the glass table at my mum's place last night, had a nasty cut on his lips, bled a little too.

I bought "Your Baby Can Read" DVD today and let him watch, he was quite attentive, at the beginning :p

Zoo Trip

The last visit to the zoo was Jan this year so its been about 7 mths since... and before, Kyrell still cannot walk. So we thought it is a good time to bring him there now, he will be able to walk on his own and appreciate the animals even more.

It started raining while we were on the way, still raining when we tried to find a place for our lunch... the place was packed because everyone was trying to seek shelter at the restaurants!! We managed to find a high-legged table. Kyrell had some cheese bread while waiting for dad dad to buy us food.

Hubby bought a bowl of chicken porridge, indian rice, fish and chips and a char siew bun. It was the 1st time that Kyrell tried the Indian's yellow rice (what's it call?), I was surprised that he took the spices well. I added some raisins and pampadams to it and Kyrell finished the whole small bowl :)

Just Another Sat

We wanted to go to Victoria St Wholesale Centre to get a tin of biscuit for hubby to put in his office then 顺 便 visit my grandma, uncle and cousin at the shop there but we were really hungry so we want to fill our tummy first. We end up going to the middle east resturant @ Pahang St again. We think it has changed ownership because the name of the restaurant seems different.. but the standard of the food and affordable price tag remains the same.

The waitresses remembers Kyrell and wanted to play/carry him but now being older, Kyrell seem more shy among stranger. He will shun away, lower his head and call me softly "mummy" as if asking me to rescue him :)

In the end, we took longer then expected at the restaurant and did not visit my relatives, instead we took a short walk to Tai Sing which houses lotsa to check out the items and combi stroller. We left empty handed though we were quite keen in 2 of the strollers. We had wanted to get a bigger stroller for Kyrell cos he is really struggling in his infant sized combi stroller now.

A Helmet - Finally!

A real helmet finally, no more basket or diaper made-pretend helmet hehe.. I chanced upon these helmets when shopping at ToyRUs, they cost less then $4 each so I bought 3 at one go!

One green for military, one yellow for construction and another blue for well, can anyone tell me what's it for?

Mummy and baby in helmets!

He calls himself Bob the Builder :)
