Playmates

We went to Kim & Allen's house this evening, the fathers' wanna catch the EPL on TV so we mummies will look after the boys and chat. On good days, Kyrell and Malcolm will play together, on bad days, well... they fight over the same toys even though there are 101 other toys lying around!! Ah....

Both boys took a breather and snack. Then they place some toy on their head as 'helmet' haha... and being more 'big head', the toy does not fit into Kyrell's head well :p

1) In this clip, you can see Kyrell and another of his classmate, Ethan; they are both one of the most 'active' boys in class, always running around and rolling on the floor haiz..
2) Then, Kyrell walked to the teacher who was playing puppetry, she said she's angry and Kyrell asked "what happened?" hee.. so cute! That's how he is, always asking this question if you are angry/sad or in pain, or if you have the slightest cut on your body!!
3) Next, Kyrell was hsppily playing the puppet spider when the younger and 1st time boy suddenly attacked him!! For the Xth time today :p

Kyrell is 28 Months Old!!

Current update about our little man :)

1) He's heavier and taller though I did not measure him, he's getting too big for me to carry him for long.

2) He is like a sponge and absorbs whatever we teach him but not neccessarily what we wanted from him haha.. ie no playing with saliva (which he do very often now!) and screaming haiz...

3) He can jump now (finally) and practise whenever he can. sometimes even when eating.

4) He can be very clumsy, always bumping into something, tripping himself over etc..

5) He almost always drops the things he holds (butter finger) like books, spoons, toys and hankie and that really drives me mad because I am anal about hygiene and so whenever he drops his things, I will have to pick up and wipe/wash them!

6) He still doesn't recognise the whole of the letter from A-Z and the one he really likes and can recognise easily seems to be letter O haha...and he says the lower case letter as ie baby 'a'

7) He still likes to sing and dance and loves watching tv/movies!! Crazy over Iron Man and Transformer now. But still likes watching kids program as well :)

Lunch

This is what I usually cook at home - simple and without seasons porridge that Kyrell loves!!
Since daddy is home today, I have added more ingredients than usual.. there's prawn, threadfin fish, spinach, seafood tofu, eggs, mushroom, crabstick, plain fish ball and chili fish ball :)

Did not do much today, slept and watch TV most of the day then we went to Kim's place in the evening for dinner (from pizza hut) and watch soccer match (Man U vs Blackburn)!
Finally saw baby Maueve with her eyes opened, looking more girlish now. I had the chance to carry her, missed the small and soft babyish body :) After awhile, Kyrell does not seem happy and asked me to carry him - ha!! He had a little 'accident' over there, he knelt down on the mat without realising that there were toy cars just beneath, knee cap landed right on top of the police car siren and he gave a loud cry!! Poor boy...

JG Bilingual Class - Week 3

The topic for the week is "Orange". Dressed Kyrell up in orange top, they did artwork related to orange colour and had orange juice. He does not fancy though because of the pulp!

On the way to class, gave him stickers and he paste it all over his face haha!!

Its on his cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, neck, arms and legs and clothes GOSH !! :p

About Kyrell In School

I had a chance to chat with teacher Sara when I went fetch Kyrell today, here's what I have learnt :

1) He likes to climb on tables, chairs etc now.. despite telling him not to do so, he will be doing it the moment the teacher turn their back. And his action was fast! Most time they could not stop him in time.. naughty!

2) He poos almost everyday, usually during his nap time (he never do that out-of-school time!!) or after he wakes up.

3) Once, teacher Sara asked Kyrell to sit down during class, he refused after numerous request, so teacher walked over and asked him why, he said got poo poo, cannot sit down :p

(He said the same thing to us too)

4) After shower, teacher Sara and 老 师 likes to touch Kyrell's hands/arms because his skin are smooth, I said children's skin are like that, teacher Sara said no and that Kyrell's one are very smooth. Sometimes, Kyrell will automatically stretched out his arms to let them touch haha.. this sounds so funny!!

5) Meal and snack time, Kyrell will usually have at least 2 servings ie 3 slices of bread or 3 bowls of porridge (during one of the snack time 3 weeks back!~)

6) There was a period when he likes to spit alot, teacher seperated him out from the rest of kids and made him sit at one side, he cried but then teacher explained to him that he cannot do that. He seem to understand and did not do that now. Well not in school but when with us or outside!! He spit at the person when he cannot get what he wants or is frustrated.

7) The kids are getting curious and asking alot of "why" and "what happened?" now.

Once, Kyrell saw teacher Sara's legs with rashes (eczema), he asked "teacher Sara, what happened? is it painful?" Teacher Sara replied that it is not then he goes "oh...not painful" and turning his head away, like its non of his business!! I had a good laugh when I hear it ;p:p

8) Like I mentioned in Mar, that Kyrell is no longer afraid of Dzul, in fact he has resorted to Dzul now and it seems like Dzul is quite afraid of Kyrell !! One few occassions, I asked Kyrell if anyone has hit him or vice versa, he told me that he hit Dzul, asked him why and where did he hit Dzul at, he said he used a toy/bowl to hit him *faint*

9) Because the kids gets excited easily, sometimes it is not easy to catch all of their attention so when that happens, teacher Sara will pretend to cry loudly. Kyrell will asked why teacher Sara is crying, she explained that because they did not listen to her, kay-po Kyrell will go around telling everyone that "teacher Sara cried because we did not listen to her" :p

Then he goes back to her and ask her not to cry anymore~!

iPhone

I bought an iphone today!! First had the thought of getting one during a wedding dinner on 28 Mar, hubby's friend Eddie showed Kyrell vid from his iphone. He told us he paid about $200+ for it which is quite affordable I think (I am not one who spend hundreds on a phone) and because I do not keep up with the techno gadgets, I honestly thought an iphone would cost over $1000+ hee....dun laugh.

So today being a Good Friday holiday, we went to Tampines Mall Starhub to check out the plans/price. They did not offer me any discount for continuing their service so we plan to port my number over with Singtel who, is giving me $100 off for doing so. Because of this discount, we decides to get the 32GB iphone in white! Yippie! But the queue was long though.. super long.. was told to get a queue number and return in 2-2.5hrs time!! So we went for dinner (Fish & Co) first, at around 5pm.

Kyrell did not take the seafood platter well (he took the rice with raisins, fish and fries), did not eat as much as half his usual intake. Threw tantrums during dinner (which he is doing quite often now), usually cry aloud and/or spit at me!!

Ok, back to Singtel, finally got the phone at around 7pm+ and can't wait to charge it (6hrs) and play with it.
