Baby Jordan Is One Month Old!

My dear friend from primary school, Meiling (Mindy) has delivered a baby boy on 12 Dec 2009, same birthdate as Kyrell (2 years apart), how cool is it?!!! I am so happy for her, we are finally mummies and hopefully our boys will be mates in future too :)

Once again, congrats to Mindy and Felix! Welcome to parenthood!

Because of hubby's back pain, he did not join us and since we are going to hosp later, I brought along Kyrell's stroller so that he can sleep in or at least I can 'control' him while at the hosp :p

Xmas Lunch @ Germaine's

Germaine invited us to her house for a Xmas lunch, she ordered and prepared some food for us, it was yummilicious! There's salmon sashimi and tuna, hotdogs, prawn fritters and onion rings, rice and Japanese curry! The kids busied themselves with the toys around. Thank you for being such good host, Germ and Boon!

Dinner With Ex-Colleagues

Met up my ex-colleagues at AMK Jack's Place for dinner, they were from my 1st job (BM Nagano) so its been almost 12 years that we have known each other! Apart from Sylvia and Veronica, I do not really keep in touch with most of them.
My mentor, Linda, has been studying in NZ since few years back and this time, she was back for hols and so we managed to arrange for a meet-up, thanks to Facebook that everyone's re-connected :)

Emily's House Warming

Emily invited some of the Yaskawa colleagues and me (ex colleague) to her new house today, it was newly built and near Tampines central, very convenient! The layout was condo-styled and nicely renovated. We had fun playing with the kids but like always, difficult to chit chat heee...

Housewarming

Dec bride-to-be Huifang invited us to her new house today, it was an old 3 room flat, small but well done up, I especially liked that the wall to her common toilet/kitchen was hacked down, very convenient! I think the kids liked it too cos they were running round and round :) I brought along a bag of cars/train/plane for Kyrell and he did not want to share with Celeste or Zenith. Kept saying "mai!". And when he did-reluctantly, he gave Zenith the plane while he took away his racing car, pick up and another car! He is becoming protective of his and my stuffs now... haiz.. At the end of the session, he knew who Huifang, Zenith and Eski (fang's dog) are and can call their names :)

Gathering

We were supposed to start out early today, to Jacob Ballas with my MDIS friends. But hubby, Kyrell and I were all too tired, having just returned home close to midnight the previous night so we skipped this and instead arranged to meet them after their outing, for a lunch. The girls proposed to meet at Mcdonalds, Ang Mo Kio. It is our 1st time there :)

Since we depart straight from home, we arrived 1st and booked a place with 2 tables but unfortunately only al fresco seating is available. The indoor is already packed.
Because the weather is so hot everyone's hiding in the air-conditioned area!

While waiting, Kyrell had his snacks - cranberry breadstick + cheerios + raisins. Then when the girls arrived with their kiddos, we ordered kids' meal for Kyrell. He had abit of the cheeseburger, 3 slices of apple and some full cream milk. And still crying for more raisins. Quite an appetite, this little piglet :p

Kyrell did not have a chance to mingle with the rest of the kids cos he was in his babychair most time. Although he is willing to 'perform' to my friends ie dancing, shake head, blink eyes, he is shy of letting them carrying. Tired too. Poor Aunty Huifang wanted so much to carry him but he simply refused.

Irene and family left after their meal because mummy needs to express milk and baby Avery is getting cranky over the hot weather. We chatted awhile more, shift to indoor and continued chatting. Then Serena and her 2 kids left. Huifang, Cindy and I stayed on for about another half hr before we make our move too.

Well I have not seen them for almost a year so there's alot to catch up! But with the kiddos around, its really not easy to touch on as many subject as we like.

Nevertheless, we will meet again soon, at Cindy's wedding on 7 Nov and Huifang's on 12 Dec, CONGRATS again girls!! :)

Grace Kids Gym Trial - 18 Jan 09

Again, we Dec 07 mummies has organised another gym trial, this time at Great World City Level 3 - Grace Kids!



He got frightened when we "hang" him on the bar, was almost crying out for me after the 1st swing!
